Welcome

AutoGrow.net is the official website of Automated Fertilizing Systems, Inc. DBA Auto-Grow.

Las Vegas Convention Center

Auto-Grow installed the first injection system on the front main entrance in 1986.  This is an electronic system using the J Plus controller; turbine meter and 6 pump heads.  Two pump heads for the custom blended acid fertilizer tank, two for the custom blended nutrient tank, and one specialized head that pumps sulfuric acid for pH control of the water and soil.

There are three other systems on property. Two are electronic systems and one is water operated.  Those systems each have dual pump heads that are controlled separately by the J Plus controller, one acid and one chelate.  The water operated system can also be operated independently but only by using the dial on each pump head with settings from 0-100%.

Auto-Grow customer blended acids and nutrients have been introduced in 1981 and have become the standard for applications in injection systems throughout Nevada and Arizona.

At the convention center the sulfuric acid treatment has provided dramatic results to the overall color and health of the plant life over the complete spectrum of species.  Turf grass, shrubs, flowers, desert plants have all benefited from the application. The Anderson Injection systems are more than capable of handling this product without leaks and with a high degree of accuracy so that any desired pH of the treated water can be reached.  We recommend bringing the normally alkaline pH water in Las Vegas and Henderson areas to the low 6.0-6.2 ranges.  We have also brought the water down in the 5.0 range and even lower without any harm to the plant life.  The lawns attain a deep green in very short time with these treatments.  Lowering the pH of the water and soil makes many micronutrients, especially iron and manganese more available to the plants from the root systems in the soil.  Injection systems also foliar feed these nutrients, which are found in the nutrient (chelate) fertilizer.
